WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!
POLLENÇA, 5 SEPTEMBER 2O26

DEAR LOVED ONES
We have decided to get married in one of our favourite places - Pollença, Mallorca. We are planning to have events across the weekend and would love to see you at all of them if possible. There will be more details to follow in due course.

Friday 4 September: Hello drink
Saturday 5 September: 'The Big Day'
Sunday 6 September: Swim & debrief

Of course we appreciate it is a long way to travel and so we completely understand if you are not able to join – there will always be more occasions to celebrate!
All our love,
Ella & Robbie
We look forward to hearing from you :)

TRAVEL
ACCOMmODATION
Palma airport has many flights a day from across the UK and is about a 40 minute drive from Pollença. We recommend hiring a car so that you can easily explore the island. We suggest using one of the more established car hire companies (Hertz, Europcar, Sixt) rather than the budget ones - the queues to pickup from budget companies can be enormous and the savings end up being marginal.
There are buses that run from the airport direct to Alcúdia (one town over from Pollença) which take about 60 minutes. From Alcúdia to Pollença it is then a 15 minute bus. You can also get a shuttle bus into Palma and then a bus from Palma to Pollença.
We recommend booking your accommodation as soon as possible as hotels / villas can get booked up well in advance. If you aim for Pollença, Port de Pollença or somewhere in between the two if you are looking at villas then that would be ideal for getting to and from the venues over the weekend. Here is a link to some spots we've found. It'd be helpful if you could let us know if you book any of these so we can keep track of where people are staying - thanks so much! FYI: We have found that there are lots more options if you stay for 5 nights versus less - often working out the same price as staying for 4!

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR TRIP!
IF YOU DECIDE TO EXTEND YOUR STAY EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE WEDDING WEEKEND, THERE IS PLENTY TO DO ON THE ISLANd.
HERE ARE JUST A FEW HIGHLIGHTS FROM US, BUT PLEASE REACH OUT IF YOU'D LIKE ANY MORE!
BEACHES

FORMENTOR can be reached by car or a ferry from Port de Pollença. The drive is fairly epic, as you wind up to Mirador de Es Colomer and down the other side. Ferry tickets can be bought online and it takes about 20 minutes. You can also get a bus.
CALA SANT VINCENÇ is a small town at the back of a series of three coves, each with their own beach. The backdrop of the cliffs is stunning and there are some nice restaurants for some food or drink behind the beaches. It is very near Pollença.
THE PORT de Pollença has one long beach spanning the length of the town. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to also check out.
PLATJA DE MURO is another long sandy beach, with bars and restaurants dotted along. Head to Ponderosa Beach where you can park and it is a bit less built up.
POLLENÇA

The old town is lovely and is well worth exploring. Browse the shops, the Sunday morning market and sit in the square having coffee. For those looking for some exercise walk up the Calvari steps or hike up to Puig de Maria.
FURTHER AFIELD

There are a lot of other places on the island to visit - towns like Sóller and Deià are beautiful - but we know them far less! For any keen cyclists, the north of the island is very popular and there are loads of hire shops around Port de Pollença.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us.
